film: a personal project (in hawaii)

Earlier this year as a self project I decided that I would delve into film photography again (not seen since my 2007 RMSP-era).  I have boxes of expired film just waiting in my fridge to be used up on some fantastic little personal project.  While this summer I admit I didn’t have much time, I secretly vowed to keep shooting film for myself.

A couple months ago I was able to step away from my desk for a few short days and soak up a little bit of aloha on the very beautiful island of Oahu.  It’s one of those places that you just have to see to believe for yourself – and it’s one of my favorite places in the world that I’ve had a chance to visit (right behind Montana, of course..).

This post is a mixture of digital + film from a personal adventure and is very dear to me – so thank you for letting me share a side of who I am when I’m not shooting weddings, seniors and littles <3
