Chippewa River Engagement Session
Just a few short months ago I was tucked quietly into a tall pine tree with branches that hung low to the ground. Bundled up in layers of clothes, a hat and mittens I quietly checked the time on my phone and waited for the moment that Michele’s friend Jess would drive into Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls. See, weeks before that day Cain had called me up and asked if I would possibly photograph him proposing to his long-time girlfriend, Michele. He was supposed to still be out of town working, and Michele & Jess were out for a girls day (that Cain had secretly arranged). Jess would drive Michele through Irvine Park and stop when Michele noticed Cain’s truck.
So, once this moment happened Michele got out of the car and quickly walked up the sidewalk towards Cain who was standing under this gorgeous little stone structure in Irvine Park where he would ask her to be his wife. He proposed with a ring that he had designed for her and of course, she said, YES! There were many happy tears and smiles – he had pulled off the best surprise! You can read more and see more of that story here.
Once they had settled in to their engagement Michele contacted me to see if I would be available to photograph their engagement and wedding photos. They’ll be getting married next July at Dixon’s Orchard (um, love!). It was so nice to explore the area around Jim Falls for a bit of a different look for their engagement photos. The rock formations are nestled in along the Chippewa River and made for the best type of engagement session – an adventurous one!
Congratulations you two, can’t wait until next July!
