Katy & Marcus were married on a little hilltop in the middle of the Blue Hills on the third Saturday of September. It was the perfect day for their Edgewood Barn wedding in Weyerhaeuser, WI. After days and days of drenching rain that washed out the little road where they were supposed to have their first look it turned out to be the most beautiful day. A slight breeze in the air and the sun shining brightly – just the way every wedding day should start out!
Katy & Marcus met just about five years ago at a party and, well there was no looking back! These two got engaged earlier this year and started planning a wedding day that they had dreamed of. Of course the barn tucked away just north of a little town where I also have deep roots was just so much fun to photograph because Katy & Marcus put so much effort into creating all of the amazing details you’ll see below from the handwritten signs to the striped straws and tractor that carried their guests to and from the ceremony. No part of their day was overlooked and what I love most is that they invested themselves into their family & friends to make the celebration come to life.
Congratulations to the both of you – so glad to have documented your wedding day 🙂 Cheers to Katy & Marcus!
