Trudi and Chad had the most perfect fall day for their wedding, it was chilly but the thing about that is it really makes it feel like fall. The perfect golden fields and rows upon rows of old oak trees stood just outside Trudi’s childhood church nestled into the hills near where she grew up in Clayton. It was a wonderful fall Wisconsin wedding!
The morning of the wedding I drove to Ridgeland where I was greeted by Trudi and her closest girls. They excitedly got ready at her Mom’s house near downtown, with hair and makeup in full swing when we walked in the door. There was excitement in the air and Trudi couldn’t wait to drive over to the church to see Chad for their first look in the field in-front of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. There he waited, with his boutonniere pinned on patiently for his soon-to-be bride arrive. And when she tapped him on the shoulder, I wish you could have seen the look on his face (well.. you will) but sometimes these things and the emotion they bring are just SO amazing in person. The tears started to flow, and the kisses and well… you can just tell these two are meant for each other.
I am just tickled for these two who happened to meet when a friend asked Trudi if she’d like to join them for a Packer party in Chad’s garage.. who would’ve ever know they’d end up married happily ever after?! The sweetest! Congratulations!
