My favorite thing about this thing that I do is that when I meet all of the wonderful people that I get to photograph so many times when we first meet everything just clicks, it’s not like we’re strangers it’s like we’re friends. It just the most amazing feeling to walk away from a session and not be able to get that connection out of your mind and it’s exactly the way I felt last Saturday evening when I parted ways from Jennifer & Kyle’s lovely Chippewa Falls winter engagement session.
Jennifer and Kyle met through friends, neither of them really looking to start a relationship but agreed to go out with a few other couples for a fun evening. Once the evening was over Kyle asked Jennifer out (many times) and although Jennifer was reluctant… hey the girl just wanted to live the single life for a bit… Kyle’s loving persistence payed off and Jennifer agreed to go out on one date with him. Well, lo-and-behold these two have been inseparable since that first date and Jennifer says “persistence, persistence pays off.” I absolutely adore hearing these stories as they are told, with Jennifer and Kyle both sharing bits and pieces of the story with me as I photographed their engagement session.
Jennifer & Kyle recently welcomed a sweet little pup into their home named Jackson, and of course he made a little appearance for their engagement photos (and now here I sit thinking, oh wouldn’t a puppy be fun to have?)… so sweet and fluffy!
These two will be married in October and have so many lovely plans in place – I cannot wait to share the rest of their love story with you this fall.
