I remember the first time I sat across the booth from Brittany & Nick when we were chatting over pie & wedding plans and just how excited Brittany was to tell me the details of their day including the fact that much of the focus would be on them, their roots with their family and the four little ones in their wedding that are near and dear to their hearts. Oh, and that it would be a Kate Spade inspired Eau Claire wedding. All of it made me so excited for them because any time when family is at the heart of a wedding celebration you know there is so much meaning behind the two of them as a couple.
A few years ago as Brittany & Nick put it, they had some “Lambeau Luck.” If you don’t remember their story about how they met, I’ll refresh your memory! These two met while tailgating for a Packers game outside Lambeau Field. See, some of Brittany’s friends and some of Nick’s friends were there cheering on their team and while they hit it off that night it wasn’t until weeks later that they had the nerve to get in touch. But, after that they’ve been inseparable!
Brittany & Nick got ready separately this past Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran church, Brittany in a room full of her best friends and Nick in the basement with his guys. It was a rush of excitement and nerves but once Brittany walked down the hill at their first look location and came out of the trees it was so much laughter & fun from these two. It was a wonderful September day and I’m so glad we spent it with you!
