MagnetHub Review & Giveaway for Save the Date Cards!
As a photographer and lover of all aspects of the wedding industry as well as graphic design, it’s so fun and refreshing for a couple to choose a new way to announce that they’re getting married – and one of my favorite ways is magnets. It’s something so fun to receive in the mail and hang on the refrigerator as a daily reminder that a couple of really fantastic folks are getting hitched in the next year (and hey… mark it on your calendar)!
So when Anna at MagnetHub contacted me about testing out one of their products, I happily agreed. Now, let me tell you. I’m super picky. I mean SUPER picky. If you ask any of my industry colleagues or assistants they’ll probably tell you it’s true. When I offer something to my clients, or even to purchase for myself (ahem, my personal Christmas card venture this year was a lengthy one) I take a lot of little things into consideration. Some of those things are: design, quality, customer service, ease of ordering, and how it feels in my hand.
My ordering process with MagnetHub was super slick, and since I don’t need save the dates I designed some really adorable 2015 Christy Janeczko Photography calendars that I’ll be sending out in orders. I designed my own background to fit my brand, then selected a pre-designed calendar template and uploaded my image to the website. I’ll even take you through the steps to show you just how easy it is.
First, I signed up for an account. Then I selected a pre-designed calendar template from the business section at MagnetHub. Once you do that you’ll click “Start Personalizing” and your design will load into their layout editor.
Next, I deleted the sample image and uploaded my image. Once the image was uploaded I adjusted it to my liking and changed my personal information that I wanted the magnet to have. Once I was happy with my design I clicked “Save Changes.”
The final step was to closely review my proof which shows online, and then clicked “Proceed to Order.” It was as simple as that!
A few days later a USPS box arrived with the magnets – which are gorgeous and printed beautifully. They have a nice feel in my hand and are a quality product that I will be happy to include with orders to my clients, or to just give out to say “Thanks for being an awesome customer.” A big shout out to MagnetHub who contacted me – I’m loving my magnets and I can’t wait to give away a set of them to a lucky couple who need to send out some gorgeous save-the-dates!
