What to Wear for Engagement Sessions in the Spring

I know it doesn’t feel like it this week but spring is right around the corner and with that comes engagement session and wedding season.  I have a lot of really lovely couples who chose to have spring sessions this year and while I was browsing the web today I found some really lovely pieces for ideas on what to wear for engagement sessions in the spring  Here’s a little look into what you’ll find below: lace with lovely delicate details, maxi dresses (I mean, who doesn’t love maxi dresses), spring colors and some classic ones that photograph well, too.

I know how hard it can be to narrow down choices for what you’re going to wear for your session since you have the option of changing at least once during your session for variety between locations.  My biggest piece of advice is to make sure you feel comfortable and beautiful.  I want you to adore your images, and that all starts with feeling comfortable and beautiful in your own skin.  Another tip is to lay out your clothing options before the session together… choose your outfit and your fiances outfit and lay them out on the floor or bed to make sure they fit and flow together well.  You want nicely coordinated pieces so that you look well put together.

While I love when couples choose to wear jeans and tees I also adore when they choose to select an outfit that fits their date night style because I think your engagement session should be treated like a date night.  So, in selecting a few options I was thinking of a spring date night engagement session!
