As I mentioned in my last post, sometimes I struggle with finding where to draw the line between professional and personal. Twenty-fifteen will bring a lot more of “me” to social media and the blog. A lot more of, hey welcome I’m Christy and this is who I am. Once in awhile I hope to share with you some of my favorite things — I cannot turn down a REALLY good brownie, I love baking cakes, sewing for my daughter and the list could go on. I also hope to make some really fun changes that are surprises along the way for my amazing clients from here on out. So, friends – sit back and enjoy the ride. I cannot wait to make your experience with me a forever experience! Hooray!
So, you might think that last paragraph came out of nowhere, but really it didn’t. It all comes back to my experience last week with Walk Through a Wedding with Justin & Mary. It all comes back to bringing “me” back into my business and loving what I do every day even more than I already do (I’m not sure it’s possible because I LOOOOVE what I do). It’s making sure that a little piece of me is within every image, my whole heart and soul. It’s making sure that each image that I capture is a forever image that will stand the test of time and become something for you and for future generations to cherish for many, many years.
In saying that, I’m sharing today day two of my experience with J&M last week. I didn’t think that our first day could be topped with that gorgeous Watters gown but lo-and-behold it was. A winter blizzard blowing in off of the ocean made for the perfect backdrop of this shoot. With a gorgeous jeweled headpiece, long flowing waves and a stunning Hayley Paige gown Whitney looked like she stepped out of a glamorous brides dream, seriously. We had nearly 30 MPH winds as this snowstorm blew in off of Morris Cove but Whitney & Mike rocked it! We called it off after awhile because it was just too cold out and headed in for a studio shoot where Whitney blew us away with a gorgeous floral crown… um, hello beautiful!
Carrie Wilcox Floral Design knocked it out of the park with this bouquet.
