Adventurous Engagement Photos in Eau Claire
When I first meet with couples about their wedding plans I love to sit down with them, chat a little bit and get to know them. Sometimes it takes a few minutes over pie, sometimes you wind up looking at the clock and wondering where time went? That’s how I always feel with Darian & Wes, I feel like I’ve known them for ages. They’re easy going, easy to talk to and have so much love for life and each other that it’s contagious. I feel lucky that I get to be the one to document their story over the coming year. It was perfect because they had adventurous engagement photos in Eau Claire! We hit up the bike trail, climbed under an overpass and walked along the lakeside.
Darian & Wes have been dating just about two years and were originally introduced when Darian wanted to learn how to box. So, with Wes having done a bit of fighting locally over the past few years a friend introduced them. Next thing they knew he was giving her lessons. It wasn’t until awhile later when Wes texted Darian to see how her boxing was going that they truly hit it off and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
The proposal was an accident (sort of, but not really). See, Darian came across a check sitting in Wes’ car that she thought just had to be a mistake. Wes was upset because well, he knew it wasn’t a mistake (he was going to buy a ring)… but as it happened Wes decided to get down on one knee and ask Darian with the check instead of the ring! So, here they are today!
I’m looking forward to their wedding day next June! I know it’s going to be wonderful and filled with that contagious joy they have for each other.
If I had to choose a favorite it would be hard, but this is one of them!
