They met on the floor of a convention in Chicago over fifteen years ago through companies they worked for at the time. Bob’s company made a component for a product Kelly’s company completed and as they put it, the companies worked closely together and many times went to dinner after conventions. Though it wasn’t until four years ago that these two reconnected, again via work but it was then that things just fell into place for the two of them. Then a year later, Bob gathered all of their family for Thanksgiving dinner and proposed to Kelly. Of course, she said yes!
I wrapped up my 2017 wedding season by photographing The Condensery wedding in Osseo, WI with Kelly & Bob and what a wonderful season it was. I witness so much love and joy in what I do for a living and its truly the best honor to be able to document the beginning of great new adventures. The moment we arrived at The Condensery in Osseo we were greeted by Kelly & her aunt Shirley who were busy getting the details of getting ready together. We hung Kelly’s dress on some sliding barn doors leading into the ceremony space and just after Kelly was dressed she walked in to see Bob for the first time with the beautiful November light streaming through the windows. That moment, when Bob saw her is the true reason why I do what I do. The emotion they had for one another was so beautiful, and I hope it weaves itself into every aspect of their life together. Congratulations to you both, we had the best time with you!
