Dixon’s Apple Orchard Wedding | Michele & Cain

Early last March I was tucked into some pine trees in Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls waiting for Michele to arrive with her friend under the ruse of a girls day.  There Cain waited, ring in his hand that he had designed just for her, roses up the walkway.  He was about to propose to her, and I was there to photograph it.  It was a truly beautiful surprise.

Fast forward a year and a half, this past weekend Michele and Cain had a Dixon’s Apple Orchard wedding in Cadott, WI.  As I walked into the bridal suite, the girls were laughing and Michele was absolutely glowing.  Cain walked over, a gift and bouquet in tow where they exchanged love letters between a wooden barn door.  Tears and excited smiles, they were ready to see each other in just a few moments.

The hay wagons brought their guests to the beautiful ceremony spot with tractors where they waited in the July humidity and breeze to see Michele ride in with a horse and carriage.  It was everything that I envisioned when both Michele & Cain talked about their day.

Over the past year I have photographed these two four times, and I just feel so lucky to get to know each and every person I photograph.  So this wedding was extra special because, not only did I photograph their engagement session but I photographed their proposal and an extra special engagement session on the farm where Michele grew up in Loyal, WI.  Congratulations to you both, we had such a blast!
