Elegant Florian Gardens Eau Claire Wedding | Hannah & Tony

This year has proven to be one of the rainiest years since I’ve been in business and it’s been a year filled with radar checking, and constant weather watching overall.  When it comes to a wedding day though, there isn’t much you can do about the rain other than grin and bare it – umbrella-in-hand.  Let me tell you folks, that’s just what Hannah & Tony did.  As I walked into the bridal room at the Florian Gardens (Hannah & Tony’s amazing wedding venue) this past Saturday I was greeted by the most amazing light-hearted happiness (rain, what rain?).  The girls (and the guys) did their portraits in the rain outside – yes it was even their idea!  I mean, come on – that’s pretty amazing folks!  So… let me tell you a little bit more about Hannah & Tony’s elegant Florian Gardens Eau Claire wedding!

First off Hannah & Tony met on campus at UW-River Falls their freshman year of college… after Hannah had planned on attending for one year to transfer to Minnesota – but folks that never happened because these two fell head-over-heels.  When Tony proposed at the location where they met, he even asked one of Hannah’s best friends to be their behind the scenes capturing it all on camera (how sweet is that??)!  Fast forward to their wedding day – as I spent my morning with the girls I could see how amazingly awesome the day was going to be.  Hannah was gifted some amazing things by her friends and family (the borrowed, the blue, the old….) and given a sweet box of love notes from Tony and all of her best friends and family members.  Hannah had surprised Tony with his own very special gift of lovely boudoir images!

While these two waited out the rain on Saturday, postponing their ceremony by just about an hour to let the rain pass – their family gathered inside to wait and when the time was right (and the seats wiped dry, towels in-hand) they filed out to be seated just in time for the clouds to part (literally, it was sunny the rest of the day) and watch these two say the most meaningful vows.  After the most lovely ceremony they danced the night away with a wonderful party!
