A Florian Gardens Wedding
Winter in Wisconsin can be unpredictable and the ultimate winter wedding is soft, dreamy and abundant amounts of snow with a bride and groom tucked neatly into falling snow. But I also want to be realistic. I feel like a lot of couples don’t choose to have winter weddings because of the unpredictability of winter, especially in the Midwest. It can be -30 zero, you can have a blizzard at the drop of a hat or you could have a bright sunny day where the snow has melted into almost nothing. Which is why we dreamt up this cozy winter Florian Gardens wedding in Eau Claire.
In going into dreaming up an inspiration shoot for winter we wanted to showcase that no matter what Mother Nature throws our way for winter weddings as a collective of vendors we can make sure that a couples’ day is still cozy and bright and oh so lovely and full of love along with joy. I also love that the cake was designed to specifically match the top of the bride’s gorgeous Lazaro gown. I can’t say enough about the vendors that came together to be part of this winter inspiration shoot – each vendor brings so much to the table and I’m so thankful to know each one of them!
It was a cozy, winter day with bright sunlight and bits of snow scattered around and Jordanne & Austin cuddling up to keep warm! Jordanne & Austin are a real couple who have been together for quite some time and we knew would be excited and perfect for the shoot. The emotion and love on their faces was so very real and I can’t wait to see how they will look on their own wedding day.
The details on the cake that The Frosted Petal created are absolutely exquisite!
