Nicole & Tony’s Heartwood Conference Center wedding was tucked in the woods just north of Trego, WI. A destination for many of their guests as they both hail from different states – it was a day that Nicole & Tony had planned for many, many months. So much care was taken to ensure their guests felt relaxed and taken care of, no detail was overlooked.
Just as Nicole’s mom walked her down the aisle to Tony the rain drops started slowly falling. See, these two feel at home in the outdoors so it seemed so fitting they were able to have their ceremony outside – rain drops or not. It didn’t dampen the joy & love that radiated from Nicole, Tony & their guests.
One of my favorite moments of the day was when Tony’s father told the story of the St. Croix fishing pole that he had purchased for Tony before he was born. See, Tony was given this special fishing pole by his father and waited until his wedding day to use it. Tony brought along the special fishing pole the morning of the wedding when he and his father went fishing and as he cast it for the first time he caught a fish. It was something to listen to them tell the story of the pole and now they hope to use it next when Nicole & Tony welcome their first little one.
As these two relax on their honeymoon in Alaska, I’m sharing a few of my favorites from their day. It’s filled with a birch tree arbor, stunning bouquets and floral arrangements, delectable sweets and so many lovely memories shared by Nicole, Tony and their family and friends.
