pretty garden ladysmith senior session | maryssa

Meet Maryssa, who is a Flambeau Class of 2015 Senior!  I had some super fun ideas for Maryssa’s session and while we were able to do some of them, get a load of that floral crown that she was super excited to use for the her pretty garden Ladysmith senior session.  Only one thing got in our way of using some of the other locations for her session – rain.  Rain, rain go away.  That’s all I could say all day long as I watched the radar and hoped that the rain showers that passed over here and there throughout the day would eventually go away and dry up.  Well, we lucked out for the beginning of the session – the grass was mostly dry and we were able to use the gorgeous floral crown buuuuuuut guess what?  It started raining only 20 minutes into the session, and while we did the best we could and used some lovely unexpected locations out of the rain we eventually had to call off the session because it was starting to pour.

Enough about the session and a little bit more about Maryssa – while I mentioned above she’s a Flambeau 2015 senior – she also just got back from an amazing trip to Costa Rica with the Spanish Club.  She told me all about the travels: hiking on volcanoes, what the roads were like, the food, the beaches and just about how amazing it was.  It kind of makes me want to check Costa Rica out someday!  Maryssa also plays volleyball, softball and basketball and is hoping to attend a UW school and go into teaching one day.

Thanks Maryssa for being such a trooper about the rain, we’ll make sure in the fall there isn’t a drop of rain in sight for your next session!
