Three years ago Stephany & James met at a conference for ministry leaders and three years passed until they met again on Valentine’s Day of 2015 where James was volunteering for City on a Hill the nonprofit where Stephany worked. Of course, because 3 years had passed and James had grown a beard Stephany didn’t recognize him right away and went about her day. But as the day went on Stephany and James kept running into each other and before they knew it the day was over and James was asking Stephany how they could stay in touch. The next thing they knew they were together at every moment they could manage and James was on bended knee asking Stephany to spend forever with him. These have the most wonderful whirlwind romance, the kind that would make girls weak in the knees!
A few Saturday’s ago these two said I do in the most stunning Waupaca Spencer Lake wedding. Stephany got ready in the room overlooking an apple tree where I hung her gown and requested to have a first look with her dad and future husband. She gave her dad the most wonderfully touching letter before she got in a car to go see her future husband for the first time. With a view overlooking Lake Spencer she tapped on James’ shoulder and he literally swept her off of her feet.
Their touching ceremony was set in Stephany’s parents back yard on an alter built just for these two lovebirds, twinkle lights strung up from every corner and candles to set the glow for the evening of love and light. I can’t say enough good about these two, it was such a pleasure to be able to document their day. So much love, so many good tears and that makes for the best day with the best folks! Thank you and congratulations Stephany & James!
