Nora & Cory’s Wedding at Lake Wissota Golf & Events

A broken refrigerator in Nora’s apartment, a phone call from a landlord and a couple of repairmen coming to look at said fridge led to these two meeting and eventually going on their first date. Which in turn led them to their wedding at Lake Wissota Golf & Events this past Saturday!
While these two were separated while Nora was doing a clinical in Texas for twelve weeks – Cory was planning something special when she got back.  He took Nora to her very first Packer game at Lambeau Field.  But, that wasn’t the entire surprise.  No… see Cory asked someone to take their photo just outside the stadium and little did she know that he was going to get down on one knee and propose to her before the game!  Now for their mini-moon, they’re enjoying a little more time in the Door County area!
Saturday was unseasonably cold for the end of September.  A day that happened to be between two days of solid rain, not a drop fell during their ceremony on the shores of Lake Wissota.  Yes, it was only 44 degrees as Nora walked down the aisle to see Cory for the first time, but that didn’t change the joy & happiness that truly overflowed for each other and from each guest!  I’m so happy for Nora & Cory – and truly wish we could do it all over again – it was a wonderful celebration!
