Alyssa & Cory’s Big Falls Engagement Session

A few months ago over coffee, I sat down across from Alyssa & Cory who told me all about their plans for their wedding next October at The Barn on Stoney Hill.  These two met officially just about two years ago, they ran into each other out on the town and chance has it that they’ve been crossing paths for many years but didn’t know of each other.  See, Cory’s sister is a good friend of Alyssa’s and Alyssa had stayed over at Cory’s parents house, knew that her friend had a brother, had attended the same functions… the list goes on.  But, they never officially met until a year and a half ago.  That was when it all fell into place and these two fell in love.  Alyssa said, “we bought a puppy after 7 months, and got engaged 5 month later.”  And now they’re planning a wedding!

I met these two last Friday evening at Beaver Creek Reserve for their Big Falls engagement session.  These two drove all the way from Stoughton to explore the woods and rushing waters with me!  Oh, and after, they were off to test out some catering options for their big day.  I would say it was a win-win trip!

I’m really looking forward to next October – the barn where they’re getting married is one of my favorite venues in the area and these two will be in-front of my camera again!
